Bayshore Cultural and Performing Arts Center Hosts January Concerts at Collier Campus

January 6, 2014 – NAPLES, FLA –The Erich Kunzel Concert Series and Jazz on the Green, presented by the Bayshore Cultural and Performing Arts Center (CAPA), will host two concerts in January at the Edison State College Collier Campus, 7007 Lely Cultural Pkwy., Naples.

The Erich Kunzel Concert Series presents Anton’s Ensemble Soiree at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 10, in the Holland T. Salley Auditorium. Anton Sikuta directs these internationally-acclaimed concert musicians who bring elegance and sophistication to each performance. Their repertoire spans centuries of musical styles. Director Anton Sikuta is former concertmaster of the State Opera Orchestra, Darmstadt, Germany, Johann Strauss Orchestra, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt Radio Orchestra.  Individual concert tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students. From 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, Jazz on the Green presents the Dan Heck Trio. Dan Heck is a professional jazz guitarist, bassist, recording artist, composer, educator, and founding member of the band Bebop and Destruction. He has appeared with many of music’s greats at New York City venues including Blue Note, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, Kavehaz, Flute Bar, the Pierre Hotel, Cleopatra's Needle and the French Consulate. The Jazz on the Green Concert Series is free.
