Oct 1, 2014

Golfers are invited to participate in Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School Charlotte’s third annual golf tournament on Saturday, October 25 at the Kingsway Country Club.  Funds raised during this event are tax-deductible and will benefit local high school students with college scholarships.   Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and lunch presentation at noon.

“The golf tournament is a fun event for our community while also helping to support the future of our local students,” said Diane Juneau, FSWC Charlotte Principal. “The last two years have been great, and we look forward to more golfers registering this year as well! Tickets can also be purchased just for the lunch and awards portion of the event.”

There will be multiple opportunities to win prizes throughout the day, in addition to first, second and third place in the tournament, including a Las Vegas package as a hole-in-one prize.  During the lunch awards presentation there will be a prize raffle as well, which include two nights at the Wyvern, a variety of local restaurant gift certificates, and multiple gift baskets.

This event is possible due to many generous sponsors: Dixon Golf; Morgan Stanley; Nolan Family Insurance; Sallee Promotions; Patricia Scott, DDS; Ben DeJong Custom Homes, LLC; Boca Grande Real Estate; Busy Bee Cabinets; iHeartMedia; Amendola Financial Group; Marshall Family Dentistry; Palmer Property Management; and Webb, Lorah & Company.

Golfers can register to play in the tournament for $75 individually, or $300 for a team of four players.  All golfer registrations include the cart fee, continental breakfast, lunch, tickets for raffle prizes and a gift certificate for a free video lesson and swing analysis with PGA Golf Professional John Elser of Rotonda Golf Academy.  Additionally, families and friends are invited to attend the lunch and raffle portion of the day for $16 per person.
