The ships were divided into 4 groups, each group through a series of four stops completing at two different science experiments at each stop. In order to complete the experiment, the groups had to earn the ingredients for the experiments. The groups answered logic questions to secure each ingredient, when they had all of their ingredients they conducted the experiment. Finally the groups had to explain the science behind the experiment to earn “Pieces of Eight”. The ship with the most “Pieces of Eight” was declared the overall winner.
