How to Apply for Scholarships

To be considered for all scholarships, follow these instructions.

Become a Buc…

  • Apply to FSW
    • Our admissions application site is also where you can RSVP for all of our upcoming events! Create your account today!
  • Submit Transcripts
    • Submitting your high school and college transcripts (if applicable) as well as your SAT (SAT School Code: 5191) and ACT scores (ACT School Code: 0727) can help you register for classes earlier!

Apply for Bucks!

  • Submit Your FAFSA
    • School Code: 001477
    • The FAFSA for the following aid year is now available starting October 1st!
  • Apply for Scholarships
    • FSW offers Presidential merit and need-based, Fine Arts, and Institutional scholarships for both out-of-state and in-state students.

Note: Presidential scholarship amounts represent total award based on four consecutive fall and spring semesters. Scholarships awarded based on the competitive academic level of the pool of applicants. Scholarship criteria is subject to change based on availability of funds and institutional priorities.


Presidential Scholarships for Florida Residents

(Freshman, First-Time-in-College Florida Residents)

Academic Excellence Scholarship ($14,000)

  • Merit-based, requires a minimum unweighted 3.5 high school GPA
  • Automatic membership in Honors Program
  • Requires on-campus housing

Ambassador Scholarship ($12,000)

  • Merit-based, requires a minimum unweighted 3.0 high school GPA

Academic Promise Scholarship ($10,000)

  • Need-based

Fine Arts Scholarships

(Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts)

Scholarships up to $2000 per semester are available to FSW students seeking an Associate in Arts degree with an emphasis in Fine Arts (honorariums or performance grants may be available for specific classes and ensembles to students not pursuing an emphasis in Fine Arts).

All scholarship applicants will be required to complete the scholarship application indicating interest in FSW fine arts scholarships and present an audition or portfolio. Specific audition and portfolio requirements for each discipline can be found on the Fine Arts webpage.
