Welcome to the 2023 Summer Housing Application!

• This Housing Application is for 2023 Summer Housing ONLY.

• Please keep in mind that when applying for summer housing you are committing to the full session in which you apply and are assigned for.

  • Should you cancel your summer housing assignment early there are cancellation fees that are associated with breaking your summer housing contract.

2023 Summer Housing Dates:

• Session A Only:
• Move-In: Sunday, May 14th from 10am – 1pm
• Move-Out: By 12pm, Thursday, June 22nd
• Session B Only:
• Move-In: Monday, June 26th from 10am-1pm
• Move-Out: By 12pm, Sunday, August 6th
• Session Full:
• Move-In: Sunday, May 14th from 10am – 1pm
• Move-Out: By 12pm, Sunday, August 6th

*If you are taking classes in both Session A & B make sure that you are selecting Session Full in drop-down menu "session needed" on the summer housing application.

**Please note that late move-outs are not permitted.

Those residents assigned to LightHouse Commons for the 2023-2024 Academic Year will not be able to return until Fall 2023 Move-In Day (noted on your portal "Housing Student Status" page) as the residence hall will shut down completely after Summer Session B to prepare the building for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Extended Stays/Late Departures will not be permitted.

• Summer A: $1,092
• Summer B: $1,148
• Summer Full: $2,352

Other Fees Included: $40 Activity Fee & $50 Cleaning Fee

Double:

• Summer A: $1,170
• Summer B: $1,230
• Summer Full: $2,520

Other Fees Included: $40 Activity Fee & $50 Cleaning Fee

Please keep in mind that those students wishing to reside in summer housing for the entire summer session (A & B) must be enrolled in at least one course for each term. Those students who are not enrolled in at least one course for the housing summer term in which they signed up for will not be eligible to continue to stay/reside in summer housing.

Important Information

• Summer 2023 Housing Applications will not be accepted/reviewed without payment of the non-refundable $50 application fee.

  • If a student has paid the application fee during the 2022-2023 Academic Year they will not be required to pay the fee again.

• Summer housing availability is limited and the Office of Housing & Residence Life cannot guarantee room type placements or specific suitemates.

• Students participating in courses in both Session A &B must select “Session Full” in drop down menu "session needed" on summer housing application.

  • Those students wanting to reside in summer housing for the entire summer session (A & B) must be enrolled in at least one course for each term.
  • Those students who are not enrolled in at least one course for the housing summer term in which they signed up for will not be eligible to continue to stay/reside in summer housing.

• Students will be contacted via their FSW email accounts in mid-April 2023 with their Summer Housing Information.

  • If a summer housing applicant currently lives in LightHouse Commons for Spring Semester 2023 and will be taking classes in Summer Session A they will stay in their current rooms until we open for Summer Session A on Sunday, May 14th.

    • On Sunday, May 14th between 10am and 1pm current Spring 2023 Residents will be required to move to their summer room on this date (no early or late moves will be approved) so please plan accordingly.
