Presidential Search Advisory Committee Members Named

The next step in the search for the District President at Edison State College is complete.

 

Ann Berlam, Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of Presidential Search Advisory Committee, said the process of naming of the members is the result of community collaboration.

 

“This committee is based on the recommendations from various constituent groups. As the Chair, I consulted with President Goodlette and am pleased that the members of this group represent the five counties that Edison State College serves and reflects the diversity of our college and community,” said Berlam. “This committee will help the Edison State College Board of Trustees by gathering input and I am confident they recommend some outstanding finalists for the Board of Trustees’ consideration. The final decision of our next District President will be made by the Board of Trustees.”

 

The Presidential Search Advisory Committee members are:

 

                Darol Carr – Community Representative, Charlotte County

                Allen Weiss – Community Representative, Collier County

                Tom Connor – Community Representative, Hendry County

                John Huysman – Community Representative, Glades County

                Miguel Fernandez – Community Representative, Lee County

                Amanda Pollitt – Faculty, Hendry/Glades Campus

                Don Ransford – Faculty, Lee Campus

                Joyce Rollins – Faculty, Lee Campus

                Christine Davis – Administrator, Collier Campus               

                Andrae Jones – Staff, Charlotte Campus

                Charlene Wolfe – Staff, Lee Campus

                Dayna Flores –Student, Edison State College

 

“This committee is ready to dedicate the time and effort needed in order to assist us in presenting the Board of Trustees with some exceptional candidates,” said J. Dudley Goodlette, Interim District President.

 

The first meeting of this committee is on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. on the Lee Campus, Building AA, Room 177.
