The Peace Center for Writers First Event Nov. 1

The Peace River Center for Writers at Edison State College announce the first of a series of events that will feature poets and writers.

 

The series opens with Anhinga Award Poet Rosalynde Vas Dias, who will read a selection of her works at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 on the Charlotte Campus of Edison State College, Building D, Room 108. A book signing will follow. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

 

Rosalynde Vas Dias was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from DeSales University in Pennsylvania and earned an M.F.A. in poetry from Warren Wilson College.
