Rush Library Film Series at ESC

EDISON STATE COLLEGE’S RUSH LIBRARY PRESENTS FREE FILM SERIES

 

Edison State College’s Rush Library Film Series is hosting a free screening of Part 2 of the documentary film, “Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.”

 

The screening will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, in the Rush Library Auditorium, J-103, on the Fort Myers campus. The public is welcome to attend.

 

Immediately following the screening, victim advocates from Abuse Counseling and Treatment (ACT) and the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida will lead a discussion about human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, and adult survivors of childhood abuse.
