Edison College Introduces Mobile Web Browsing Service

Cell phone users with Internet access can now view streamlined information from Edison College's website on their mobile devices, thanks to the new Edison mobile web service. Simply visit www.edison.edu and your phone will be automatically redirected, or directly access http://mobile.edison.edu. Users can obtain information on such topics as academic programs, directions to the College, upcoming events and important phone numbers.
Edison College is one of the few community colleges in the state to offer a mobile Internet service. "As mobile browsing becomes more popular, we want to be able to provide our students and the public with as much access to the College as possible," says Mark Savage, Edison's webmaster. "The site is easy to navigate and designed for streamlined viewing on mobile devices."
The Edison mobile web service includes information for campuses and programs across the College's five-county district.
