Welcome Amy Teprovich District Director of Student Life

DISTRICT --Edison State College welcomes Amy Teprovich as the new District Director of Student Life. In her role Amy will develop and promote campus life through programs and activities to boost student learning and development.

“Edison State is focused on the entire experience a student gains during their time with the College,” said Bill Roshon, District Dean of Technical and Professional Studies. “Amy brings a keen awareness of the importance of student development in and out of the classroom. I know you’ll find her energy and outgoing personality a true fit for this position.” 
 
Among her many duties Amy will provide support to Edison State clubs, organization and student government.
 
 “There is no doubt that academics are the central focus of a student’s higher education experience,” Teprovich said. “However involvement out-of-the-classroom is truly vital in preparing students to be critical thinkers and civically engaged leaders in our global society.”
 
Amy brings a rich background focused on student life issues. She most recently served as Director of Campus Involvement at Florida Gulf Coast University. She also served as the Director of Student Activities and Residence Life at Dowling College on Long Island in New York.
 
Amy’s will also bring her impressive skill set into classroom at Edison State. She serves as adjunct faculty teaching Introduction to Algebra.
Amy holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Canisius College, Buffalo, New York. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from the same institution.
