SW Florida Chamber Recognizes President Walker

I am pleased to announce that President Walker today received the Business Building Leadership Award from the Chamber of Southwest Florida at the 2005 Regional Economic Outlook Conference. The annual award recognizes distinguished business and community leaders for their personal and organizational leadership, management and advocacy resulting in a positive contribution to the region and its economy. Dr. Walker is the seventh recipient of the award.
In accepting the honor, Dr. Walker thanked “my team at Edison College—the District Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff--whose dedication makes things happen.� Dr. Walker said he shares the award “with all of the people who make me look good.�
