Announcing the Spring 2007 Edison Film Series

Feb 5, 2007

Edison College's student film group, the Edison Film Society, has put together an impressive lineup of critically acclaimed films for it's Spring Film Series.

The series ranges from one of the funniest movies ever made--"Some Like it Hot"--to a disturbing family drama--"The Celebration"--that broke new ground in the world of independent film. There are monsters of all kinds--from those in the 1925 feature "The Lost World" and the original "King Kong," to the serial killer in "Silence of the Lambs."

"The Mirror" is a visually stunning cinematic poem that was a landmark in the development of modern cinema, and Orson Welles' "Touch of Evil" is considered one of the "noirest" of all film noir.

Those are just a few of the rich variety of films found in the Spring Film Series. For complete details of all films and a schedule, click here to download a copy of the brochure.

Admission to all films is free of charge, and all films will be shown in Corbin Auditorium Building J on the Fort Myers campus.
