Holocaust Memorial Week activities announced

Mar 15, 2007

Holocaust Memorial Week events on the Fort Myers campus will take place March 26 - 30, with preliminary activities on March 22 and 23. This year's theme is "Truth or Propaganda?" and the project is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Talbot Spivak, a professor at Edison College for more than 20 years who passed away last December. Dr. Spivak is best known as the father of the Holocaust Memorial Project, and he worked many hours each year to bring the week-long observance to fruition.

Complete details can be found at the Holocaust Memorial website.

All events are open to the public in addition to students, faculty, and staff. For a complete schedule of events, click here to view and print the Holocaust Memorial Week flyer.
