Edison State College in Southwest Florida is named the fastest growing public two-year college in the state and the 12th fastest growing in the nation. This is the second year in a row Edison State has been designated fastest growing in Florida by the U.S. Department of Education.
Edison State College grew by 14.4% from Fall 2007 to Fall 2008. Total student enrollment at Edison is more than 20-thousand including campuses in Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties, a center serving students in Hendry/Glades, a virtual campus - Edison Online and non-credit courses are offered through our Continuing Education department.
