Edison College Foundation announces new officers of the board

The Edison College Foundation, Inc., announced its new slate of officers at it's last meeting. Bruce Schultz, President and CEO of Southwest Capital Bank was named Chairman. Jason H. Korn, Esq., Director, Cohen & Grigsby Law Firm was named Vice Chairman; Tammy Surratt, President and CEO of Legacy Wealth Group named Treasurer; and Berne Davis, community leader, named Secretary of the Edison College Foundation Board.

Along with new officers, the Edison College Foundation Board also renewed six members to additional three-year terms including Mitch Hutchcraft, Regional Vice President for Hendry County, The Bonita Bay Group; Gene R. Solomon, CPA; Mavis Miller, community leader; Kyle Williamson, Principal, Larson Allen CPA Firm; Cort Frohlich, Partner, Wilkins Frohlich Law Firm; Debra Dees, Five Star Realty.
The purpose of the Edison College Foundation is to support the educational mission of Edison College. The Edison College Foundation promotes higher education in general, and specifically encourages the advancement of teaching and instructional services, student scholarships, and support for the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall and Bob Rauschenberg Gallery.
