Foreign Policy Association "Great Decision" Series

For the first time the popular ‘Great Decision’ series is coming to Southwest Florida. ‘Great Decisions’ is the Foreign Policy Association’s now famous briefing book and program designed to engage citizens in learning about the world. 

This eight week course will provide an overview of the main international issues facing us. The format is a 30 minute video presentation on the subject followed by 45-60 minutes of town hall style discussion with a moderator present who is a specialist in the subject.

Dates: Wednesdays, • January 13th – March 3rd

Time: 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Location: Edison State College, Lee Campus, room to be announced

Cost: $30 per session

• January 13th- “Special Envoys”

• January 20th- “Kenya & R2P”

• January 27th- “Global Crime”

• February 3rd – “US-China Relations”

• February 10th – “Global Financial Crisis”

• February 17th- “Russia and Its Neighbors”

• February 24th- “The Persian Gulf”

• March 3rd- “Peace Building and Conflict Resolution”

** Optional Textbook: $20.00 which covers 8 sessions
