Jan 25, 2010

The Edison State College Collier Campus was Governor Crist's first stop on a 3 stop visit to Collier County last Friday, January 22.  The Governor was greeted by Campus President, Dr. Jeffrey Allbritten, as well as students and college faculty and staff.

Governor Crist interviewed a final cut of six candidates to fill a Collier County School Board seat left vacant by Board member Richard Calabrese’s resignation, effective Jan. 1. According to Governor Crist, the Collier County School Board could have a new member sometime this week.

The interviews at the Edison State College Collier Campus were the first stop for the Governor in a daylong series of events in Collier County that included a visit to Rookery Bay Reserve and Cambier Park in downtown Naples.
