Congressman Mahoney Visits Edison

Congressman Tim Mahoney visited the Charlotte Campus of Edison College Friday morning to address Professor Carol Roark’s Public Speaking class. Many of the students in the class have already started their own businesses or have plans to do so and Congressman Mahoney, giving examples of obstacles today’s college students might have to overcome to reach their professional goals, encouraged the group to use each failure or setback as motivation to continue to strive for success.
