Welcome to Florida SouthWestern State College!

Whether you are an incoming freshman, transfer, or returning student, we are excited that you have chosen to join the FSW community.

The FSW community is full of incredible faculty and staff that truly care about student success. As you begin your time here with us as a Buccaneer, know that each of us wants to see you succeed in meeting all of your academic and personal goals.

FSW is the oldest institution of higher education in our area. We are currently celebrating 60 years of serving the South West Florida community. With many alumni in the local region and across the country, you will be in good company with over 70,000 others who got their strong starts here at FSW.

Whether it’s living on campus, attending athletics or recreation events, working with a faculty or staff mentor, meeting new people and developing connections -- we want you to know that you are important to us. We are committed to supporting you on your academic journey by providing leadership opportunities, campus engagement activities and support systems that improve your connection to the College and enhance career and workforce skills.
