Joshua Frye graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in education in 2001. He has taught for 10 years in Lee County schools. His first year of teaching was in the 4th grade at Edison Park Elementary, soon after was hired to teach at Three Oaks Middle School where he focused on teaching mathematics and coaching after school sports. In the fall of 2005, Mr. Frye had an opportunity to help establish Lexington Middle School. While at Lexington, he was the math department head and coached several successful teams. Mr. Frye’s greatest achievement at LXMS is when he earned Lee County’s middle grades math teacher of the year for 2010.
Mr. Frye feels very fortunate to be a part of Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School team, and is excited to bring his experience, enthusiasm, and love of mathematics to the Spartan way of life.
