Mrs. Zaragoza is a native of Cuba. Having learned both Spanish and English has helped her work with students in the Lee County School District in the ESOL Department as an ESOL Paraprofessional and ESOL Contact. She has also had the wonderful experience of working with ESE students in VPK.
She is not only a full-time employee of Florida SouthWestern State College, but she is also attending college full-time and is currently working on her A.S. Degree in Accounting. Thereafter, she is planning on going on to her B.A.S. in Supervision and Management.
Since her children started school, Mrs. Zaragoza has been fortunate enough to be in the schools they have attended, either in the role of an employee or volunteer of the school. It has always been her belief that a great education starts from the home. Therefore, Mrs. Zaragoza was elated to become part of the Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School – Lee team where her children are attending. She has three children that have gone or are going through Edison Collegiate High School and have been very successful up to graduation. She looks forward to working with the students and seeing them grow in all sense of the word.
