Attention 8th Grade Student Parents! ECHS Charlotte Will Host Three Information Sessions

Edison Collegiate High School Charlotte invites local eighth grade students and their parents to one of three information sessions about enrollment into the “A” grade school. Interested students can visit the school from 6-8pm on January 21, February 6, or February 19.

The first collegiate high school in Southwest Florida is open to all students eligible for the ninth grade with no GPA or test score requirements. ECHS Charlotte’s innovative curriculum enables its students to simultaneously graduate with their high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree from Edison State College. This liberal arts public charter offers extensive elective programs while maintaining a strong foundation of honors level courses.

  • ECHS Charlotte students scored among the top three percent in mathematics and reading
  • ECHS Charlotte is designated a high-performing charter school by the Florida Department of Education
  • ECHS Charlotte has been named an “A” school in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
  • 2013 was the first ECHS Charlotte graduating class with 55% of the class earning both a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree from Edison State College

ECHS Charlotte is designed to provide students of all ability levels an opportunity to graduate with both a high school degree and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Edison State College.  The transformational teaching methods used provide an engaging learning environment and opportunities for all students to receive additional educational resources through the high school and Edison State College.   Students enjoy small class sizes and individualized attention at ECHS since the school has a maximum of 400 students, 100 per grade from nine through 12.
