TODAY'S TOP TIP
From April 29 to May 9, academic advising is available in most Schools on a Walk-In basis during business hours. Please see below for more information based on your degree/School.
- New FSW students: If this is your first time in college, you will attend a mandatory Advising Workshop to meet your advisor and register for classes. Check your FSW email for instructions, or contact us by phone or chat to learn more.
- All other students: Please come to the Office of Academic Advising at your preferred FSW location. If you are unable to come to campus, please click here to join the queue for a remote meeting.
- School of Education students: Please visit room U-214H for a walk-in appointment, or email david.koehler@fsw.edu to schedule a remote meeting.
- Allied Health students: Appointments may be required for these programs. Please email alexis.augustenborg@fsw.edu to schedule an appointment during this time.
- Nursing students already admitted to ASN/BSN programs: Please visit the nursing advising office at your campus, or email nursing@fsw.edu for instructions to arrange an advising meeting.
- School of Business and Technology students: Please visit room A-210 at the Lee Campus for a walk-in advising appointment from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, or email your advisor through your portal for a remote meeting.
- Associate in Arts (AA) students: Please come to the Office of Academic Advising at your preferred FSW location. If you are unable to come to campus, please click here to join the queue for a remote meeting.

What Do Academic Advisors Do?
Academic Advisors at FSW assist you with selecting classes, but that's not all! They will help you explore our academic programs to help you determine which program will help you land your dream career or transfer to a university to further your education.
How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
You can schedule an appointment with your advisor on your FSW Student Portal.
When you schedule an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions. If you have already scheduled your in-person appointment, please go directly to the Advising Front Desk. If you have requested a Zoom appointment, please check your Bucs email for an email from your advisor with a link. If you have requested a phone appointment, your advisor will call you at the number listed in your FSW Portal.
