Faculty Memo from Edison State College Chairman of the Board Chris Vernon

Dear Faculty,
The local media has reported faculty concerns regarding recent developments at
Edison State College. It is my understanding that Dr. Walker has scheduled a meeting later today
to hear directly from the faculty regarding these concerns. It is my hope that the meeting is both
well attended and productive. To the extent the faculty raises concerns during the
upcoming meeting, and feels that they are not adequately addressed, please let the Board know
pursuant to the appropriate procedures.
As a lead in to the meeting today, I would like to thank the faculty, the administration, Dr.
Walker, and fellow board members for great dedication to the best interests of Edison Students
and the Southwest Florida community.
