NAPLES, FLA. – Rico Ducatel, a student at Edison State College Collier Campus, was just named Student of the Month by the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) for February. The accolade is the result of statewide nominations of students. The winner is recognized for his or her contributions in an academic co-curricular discipline.

“Our students are outstanding examples of academic and community leaders, and it’s especially rewarding when their efforts are recognized by their peers at the state level,” said Dr. Jeff Allbritten, President, Edison State College Collier Campus. “Rico is deserving of this honor for all that he does on our campus and within our community.”

The Collier Campus was recently recognized on the state level with three Bob Graham Awards by the Florida Junior Community College Student Government Association (FJCCSGA).

The Edison State College Collier Campus, 7007 Lely Cultural Parkway, is located off Collier Boulevard, three miles north of Tamiami Trail East.
