Dual Enrollment Parent Information Night at Edison State College

Edison State College Lee Campus will host a Dual Enrollment Parent Information Night to give valuable insights into the program. Dual enrollment provides high school students with the opportunity to take college courses while in high school. Students are able to accelerate their college experience while saving substantially on the cost of a college education.

All parents and caregivers of high school students are invited to attend the Dual Enrollment Information Night on Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30p.m. in room AA-177 at Edison State College, 8099 College Parkway in Fort Myers. Don’t miss the chance to learn about the dual enrollment opportunity at Edison State College and get an overview of all of Edison State College’s programs. Tours of the beautiful campus will be available after the presentation. Please call 239-489-9270 to register for the event.

High school students who qualify for dual enrollment at Edison State College do not pay for tuition, fees, or books- similar to if they were attending traditional high school classes. They are enrolled as Edison State students and receive full college credit for courses while simultaneously meeting high school requirements. Dual enrollment is open to public, private and home schooled high school students who meet qualification requirements.

Celebrating nearly 50 years of excellence, Edison State College is Southwest Florida’s largest, most accessible and most affordable institution of higher education. Proud to be tobacco-free, Edison State serves more than 24,000 students per year in five counties and online.  For more information please visit www.edison.edu.
