Collier Campus SGA Wins Four National Awards

The Student Government Association (SGA) at Edison State College Collier Campus won a record four awards during the Florida Model Legislature (FML) Conference in Tallahassee earlier this month. Students representing 20 colleges and universities around the country attended the three-day event.

 

The Edison State Collier SGA brought home the awards for: Most Distinguished Delegation for outstanding performance as a team; Two Most Distinguished Senator Awards to Johny Williamceau and Rico Ducatel; and the Excellence in Participation Award for the Collier SGA.

 

“Our SGA students are incredible leaders on our campus, around our state, and now on a national level. They are a shining example of what can be achieved because of their leadership skills,” said Dr. Robert R. Jones, Interim President, Edison State College Collier Campus.

 

The Edison State College Collier Campus, 7007 Lely Cultural Parkway, is located off Collier Boulevard, three miles north of Tamiami Trail East.
