                          Preliminary Fall Enrollment Numbers Climb at Edison State College

 

August 22, 2011 --Fort Myers, FL – Edison State College officials announced that the preliminary Fall enrollment numbers continue to grow.

 

District-wide, the headcount enrollment on August 22, 2010 was 16,228. As of August 22, 2011, the current enrollment numbers are at 16,550, with the anticipation that the number will climb as registration is finalized and classes begin on August 23, 2011.

 

“The high demand for expanded career options opens the door for all students interested in a good education,” said Dr. Steve Atkins, Vice President, Academic Affairs. “At Edison State we continually strive to offer an excellent educational experience in a variety of desirable fields, while also preparing our students to join the workforce of their chosen profession.”
