Governor Scott Appoints Rhone as a Trustee at Edison State College

  

February 21, 2012 – FORT MYERS, FLA. – Florida Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment Braxton C. Rhone to serve on Edison State College’s Board of Trustees. His term begins today and ends May 31, 2013.

 

 “We welcome Mr. Rhone to our Board of Trustees,” said J. Dudley Goodlette, Interim District President. “He brings a wealth of local experience that will help us continue moving forward.”

 

Rhone, of Fort Myers, is a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, he was a client sales and service officer for Bank of America from 2006 – 2012. Active in the community, his service includes being an inaugural member of the G.A.I.N. (Growing Associates in Naples) Program, and as a past board member of Youth Leadership Collier. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he also served as student body treasurer and vice president.

 

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
