Edison State College Faculty and Students Donate Books to University in Indonesia

Faculty and students of Edison State College School of Health Professions Nursing program continually work together to collect and donate educational books to Udayana University in Bali, Indonesia. In the recent months, two shipments have been sent over to assist the University in its nursing facility.
The National Student Nursing Association (NSNA) also held a car wash to raise money for a few college initiatives, and one of those was the “Books for Bali”. Their efforts during this event raised money for the shipping of 34 pounds of text books. The nursing faculty collects unused texts that can be sent for use by the faculty in Bali.
“Current teaching materials are very difficult to come by as I observed last summer when guest lecturing for the Udayana School of Nursing,” said Dr. Suzanne Wells DNP MNSc RN, Professor of Nursing at Edison State College. “This not only helps the faculty and students at Udayana University, it also helps to create a stronger relationship between our faculty and students here as they work together to help others.”
