Edison Collegiate High School Charlotte Students More Than Make The Grade!

The State of Florida recently released the state average of the FCAT and End of Course (EOC) scores, and students at Edison Collegiate High School Charlotte (ECHS) exceeded state averages by as much as 39 percent across  multiple subjects.  All students in the State of Florida participate in the FCAT and specialized EOC exams based on subjects; and at the start of the summer, schools are able to see where their students are in regards to the testing data. 

 

“We are so pleased to see so many of our students excel with their FCAT and EOC scores,” said Diane Juneau, Principal of ECHS Charlotte.  “The teachers and staff here try to offer a variety of learning options for students so that no matter what their abilities are, they have the opportunity to receive the best possible education to ready them for college and real world challenges.”

ECHS Charlotte is designed to provide students of all ability levels an opportunity to graduate with both a high school degree and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree.  The teaching methods used provide students an engaging learning environment and opportunities to receive additional educational resources through the high school and Edison State College.  ECHS recently celebrated its first official high school graduation with the class of 2013, who were the inaugural class.
