Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at FSW Awarded 2014 Arts & Attractions Marketing Grant

Oct 15, 2014

The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) was awarded a 2014 Arts & Attractions Marketing Grant.

The $12,500 grant was awarded to the gallery in order to strengthen and promote arts and cultural attractions in Lee County.

“The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery is truly honored to receive this support. The Arts & Attractions Marketing Grant is essential to our efforts in attracting visitors to the community and to engaging them through our programs and exhibitions year round,” said Jade Dellinger, director of the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at FSW.

The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery offers public exhibitions of internationally-renowned works of art for the entire Southwest Florida community. On October 22, which would have been Robert Rauschenberg’s 89th birthday, the gallery is opening one of his solo exhibitions, RAUSCHENBERG: China/America Mix.

The Arts and Attractions Marketing Grants were established in 2004 under a partnership between the Lee County Tourist Development Council, the City of Fort Myers, and the Lee County Alliance for the Arts. The grant is provided to Lee County arts and cultural organizations in order to:

  • Use existing resources to strengthen Lee County as a tourist destination and encourage repeat visits.
  • Provide the financial foundation for growth in Lee County’s arts, cultural, and attractions industry.
  • Partner with motivated professionals to ensure a quality return on the community’s investment.
