Anywhere, Anytime Answers with ESC's New App

Edison State College introduces an App designed to make student’s lives a bit easier. The new app provides students with answers to frequently asked questions right in the palm of their hand, on their web enabled phone.
“So many of today’s students use their phones to communicate in a variety ways,” said Mark Savage, Manager of Web Services at Edison State College. “We decided it should be a priority to create an App for web enabled phones that can show student’s their real time information. After several months of development, feedback and testing, we felt this App was ready to launch.”
Students can log into their personal and secure myEdisonState portal site, through their phone, to find out information about their financial aid, grades, campus events and much more.
“Student surveys tell us our students want more wireless access to their courses and schedules, said Mark Trask, Chief Information Officer at Edison State College. “Student’s have busy lives and want the flexibility to check school information while they are in line, at home, or on the go.”
The IT department says they are working on many more new and cutting edge programs to make life a bit easier for Edison State students and staff.
