Bank Of America's $10,000 Gift To Edison

Bank of America, one of Southwest Florida’s premier banking institutions, has pledged a gift of $10,000 supporting the Edison College Charlotte, Collier, and Lee Campus initiatives. With more than 650 associates locally, Bank of America has 52 banking centers in Lee and Collier Counties and has been a presence here in the southwest Florida market for more than 80 years.

Gerri Moll, Bank of America President for Lee and Collier counties, presented a ceremonial check for $10,000 to Edison College District President Dr. Kenneth Walker on the Lee campus recently.

The generous donation from Bank of America will help support the students of the Charlotte, Collier, and Lee campuses through scholarships and program support. In addition, Bank of America has an Endowed Honors Scholarship with Edison College worth more than $100,000.



The Edison College Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation chartered under Florida Statutes to serve as a direct support organization of Edison College. The Foundation accepts gifts in support of the activities directly related to the mission of Edison College, including cash, property, securities, bequests and trust and life income arrangements. The Foundation is guided by a Board of Directors, composed of business and community leaders who are vitally interested in higher education in southwest Florida. The Edison College Foundation promotes higher education in general, and specifically encourages the advancement of teaching and instructional services, student scholarships, and support for the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
