The Edison Film Society presents the classic Charlie Chaplin film, "The Kid," along with two Chaplin short films at a free screening this Saturday, October 14, at 7 p.m. This is the premier event for Edison College's student film group, and the screening is open to everyone. Edison Film Society Vice President Nigel Dreiner is an avid student of the Silent Era and Chaplin's work in particular, and he will introduce the films at the event. The screening will be held in the Corbin Auditorium, which is located in Building J, the Learning Resources Hall on Edison's Fort Myers campus, 8099 College Pkwy. Parking is available in Lots 6 and 8, and a printable map of the campus is available on the Internet at http://www.edison.edu/lee/images/leemap.pdf.
