New Student Life Specialist at Charlotte

Edison State College is pleased to announce that Michael Beane has joined the Charlotte Campus Student Services team as Student Life Specialist. Mike graduated with his bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice from SUNY Potsdam in New York and, after moving to the Charlotte County area a year ago, earned a Professional Teaching Certificate from State College of Florida. Mike said he feels there’s always something exciting about starting a new job whether the new people in new places or simply starting a new adventure. Either way, he will be overseeing all student activities at the campus and is already involved in planning the fifth annual Haunted College scheduled Friday, Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and managing the Terrific Tuesday events held every week during the semester.
