Dual Enrollment Seminar Tonight! Take College Courses FREE While in Highschool!

Mar 24, 2010

High school students and parents are invited to Edison State College to learn about an exciting opportunity for eligible high school students. The Dual Enrollment program offers high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to earn credit toward both high school graduation and college. Readiness for the program is determined through an examination of the student's high school GPA and scores earned on the ACT-E, SAT-R, or FCELPT.

The Dual Enrollment program is FREE of charge.  Tuition is waived for this program and textbooks are available at no cost to the students.

Admissions Coordinator, Ashley Sunyog will be presenting, with current dual enrollment students as special guest speakers. Ms. Sunyog will explain the guidelines and current students will discuss dual enrollment experiences. Light refreshments will be served and campus tours are available.

Collier Campus President, Dr. Jeff Allbritten says, “This program is a great opportunity for those students who qualify. It’s an excellent opportunity into higher education, without putting financial responsibly on their families.”

College Credits earned through dual enrollment are transferable in the state of Florida.
