The School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences currently only offers one internship in political science for majors working in both Senator Bill Nelson’s Ft Meyer’s Office and State Senator Lizbeth Benaquisto’s Fort Myers office. The internships vary in number and length. Both offices usually took 1 to 2 students per semester but a few students ended up getting promoted into permanent positions in the senators’ respective staffs after graduation.
