FSW Faculty & Staff Campaign Raises $38K

The FSW Foundation organized a Faculty & Staff Campaign in the fall to benefit specific funds, schools, campuses or programs at Florida SouthWestern State College. By giving to the area in which they were most passionate, college employees were also entered into weekly drawings culminating in a grand prize announcement at our Campaign Appreciation Luncheon.

The FSW Faculty & Staff Campaign raised $37,844.40 from a total of 125 individual gifts. The largest share of donors gave to the Community Support Fund, designed to meet the college’s most pressing needs, as well as the Suncoast Credit Union Arena Campaign.

On Thursday, January 14 the Foundation hosted the Campaign Appreciation Luncheon in U-102 on the Thomas Edison (Lee) Campus. Everyone who gave to the campaign was invited. Vice President of Institutional Advancement Dr. Lou Traina announced that Abby Wilcox, Director of Institutional Research, was the grand prize winner of four tickets to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
