Jan 31, 2018

JANUARY 31, 2018 – FORT MYERS, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College’s (FSW) Department of Nursing will hold a series of informational sessions for those interested in the Associate in Science in Nursing (ASN) degree at three FSW campuses this spring.

FSW’s Nursing program offers two degree programs that are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN): the Associate in Science degree in Nursing (ASN) to prepare entry level Registered Nurses (RN) and the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (RN to BSN) for Florida licensed RN’s who want to advance their education and expand their employment opportunities in this high demand profession. LPN’s are offered the Gold Standard pathway as entrance into the ASN degree program. FSW’s Associate Nurse Evening and Weekend (ANEW) program is a flexible hybrid nurse educational offering with online and clinical training times that provide students the opportunity to fulfill other day activities while earning an ASN degree. Nursing students can seamlessly complete the ASN degree, earn the RN license, and then complete the BSN degree (100 percent online) while actively employed as an RN.
