FSW Adult Learners’ Virtual Sessions

OCTOBER 7, 2021 – FORT MYERS, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) will hold Adult Learners’ Virtual Sessions on various dates this October. The sessions will focus on topics of concern for current and potential adult students.

  • FSW 101: Admissions and Enrollment Basics – Noon on Tuesday, Oct. 12 and Thursday, Oct. 21
  • Connect to Your Future – Noon on Wednesday, Oct. 13 and Tuesday, Oct. 19
  • Work, Life, School Balance for Incoming Students – Noon on Thursday, Oct. 14 and Wednesday, Oct. 20

Adult learners, or nontraditional students, are students who are over the age of 22 when beginning college but can also include students who are married, students supporting dependents, veterans, financially-independent students, and students who work full-time. More than 25 percent of FSW’s student population are adult learners.
