Observatory Opens for 2022-23 Viewing Season

SEPTEMBER 12, 2022 – PUNTA GORDA, FLA – The James & Barbara Moore Observatory at the Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) Charlotte Campus has opened for the 2022-2023 viewing season.

Observation sessions are held on the third Friday of each month and begin 30-45 minutes after dark, outdoors and weather permitting. Sessions are free and open to the public. The FSW Charlotte Campus is located at 26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda.
