What is the FSW Leadership Launch?
Leadership Launch is a FREE day of professional development, learning and networking opportunities for student leaders across all four locations. Leadership Launch is intended to help student leaders build lifelong relationships with each other, faculty, staff, and community partners while promoting collaborative efforts and the development of leadership skills.
Who can attend the FSW Leadership Launch?
All students who are interested in leadership are welcome to come! Just make sure to sign up before the September 7 deadline!
Why should I participate?
Students who participate in the Leadership Launch can expect to:
- Begin to develop and understand their Leadership style/identity
- Obtain and strengthen leadership skills such as diversity and inclusion, problem-solving, motivation, communication, teamwork, proactive event planning, and goal setting
- Gain confidence and take ownership in the work that they do at FSW
- Participate in idea-sharing as it relates to their experiences as a student leader and organizational member/leader
- Understand how to seek and use feedback to continue to improve programs, services, and the experiences of FSW students
- Meet new students, faculty/staff and possibly create friendships or partnerships for the future
