FORT MYERS, Fla. - MAY 6, 2026 - On National Nurses Day, Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) proudly announces that its School of Nursing has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), a distinguished recognition of the quality and excellence of its nursing programs.
The announcement was shared by Dr. Susan Holland, dean of the School of Nursing, during last week’s commencement ceremony, where FSW celebrated the achievements of its newest graduates alongside Florida Commissioner of Education Anastasios Kamoutsas.“
