The Office of Community Standards is a general resource for all Students and will advocate for Students when appropriate. Staff in the Office of Community Standards assist in establishing standards of conduct as well as disseminating and enforcing College rules, regulations, and policies.
FSW is committed to maintaining a civil environment that fosters learning and personal development. All members of the Florida SouthWestern State College community are responsible for their own behavior and are expected to be familiar with the rules and regulations of the College pertaining to academic affairs, social conduct, and student activities. Students are expected to uphold appropriate standards of behavior and to respect the rights of others.

To promote personal responsibility for one's own behavior and champion a fair and impartial process as it relates to our college's standards of conduct. Through fostering an environment for development, we deliver opportunities for education rooted in respect, integrity, and values in and out of the classroom for Florida SouthWestern State College.
