Crime Scene Technician (Certificate)

The purpose of the Crime Scene Technician College Credit Certificate is to prepare students for future careers with law enforcement in the crime scene field. The program is specifically designed for a hands-on realistic approach in each of the areas required by law enforcement. This program prepares students for employment in roles such as: Crime Scene Technicians, Crime Scene Investigators, Crime Lab Assistant/Investigator, Crime Scene Photographer, Property and Evidence Staff, and Fingerprint Classification Specialist.

Most of the courses in this certificate program can also be applied toward the AS, Crime Scene Technology.

The program is designed for both full-time and part-time students. Courses are offered in an online and traditional formats to accommodate students’ varying schedules and learning preferences.
