VP for Academic Affairs

Dr. Judith Bilsky, Vice President for Academic Affairs

As the College’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, my role focuses on working closely with the Associate Vice President and Academic Deans to support students and faculty in promoting and ensuring educational success in the classroom and beyond.

In keeping with FSW’s strategic plan, my goal is excellence in academic programs which includes facilitating an environment supportive of teaching, research, public service, global awareness and meeting the workforce needs of the communities we serve. This includes an increased commitment to broader shared governance as well as a focus on rebuilding post-COVID access to on-campus classes and activities including the continued availability of remote course modalities as needed.

Supporting the College’s dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion, and working in concert with all administrators, and outreach programs throughout FSW, Academic Affairs will maintain a focus on a strong, yet affordable foundation in certificate programs, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and select Baccalaureate degree programs throughout our five schools: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Business and Technology, the School of Pure and Applied Sciences, the School of Health Professions and the School of Education.
