Criminal Justice Technology (AS)

The Associate in Science (AS) in Criminal Justice Technology program prepares students to work as criminal justice practitioners/supervisors/managers in law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, juvenile courts, crime laboratories, and mobile units dealing with physical evidence, etc. or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in these occupations. The program may also be beneficial to law enforcement professionals seeking incentive benefits, promotion, or career enhancement in the field.

The AS, Criminal Justice Technology program is designed especially for students who have successfully completed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission Basic Recruit Academies for Law Enforcement Officer and/or Correctional Officers.
