Testing Services serves our student community who request disability-related accommodations with the opportunities to take and make up classroom exams by helping the faculty administer them at our testing centers.
FSW students must register with the Office of Adaptive Services at the beginning of the semester to be eligible for disability-related accommodations.
FSW students who are eligible for a scribe must contact the Office of Adaptive Services at 239-432-7354 to confirm an appointment at least three (3) business days prior to testing
Rules for Testing
Submitting a Test
The faculty member must submit the test electronically to the testing center prior to allowing the student to test.
Arriving on Time
Due to allowing extended time, the latest you could start testing may be 1 PM.
The student must allow enough time to complete the exam prior to closing of the testing center by arriving no later than fifteen (15) minutes after their appointment time.
Confirming Submission
The student should email the faculty member at least three (3) business days prior to the exam date to confirm the exam has been submitted.
Showing ID
The student must present an FSW Buc Card or any other valid government-issued ID with picture and signature (driver license, passport, etc.) to be admitted to test.
Making an Appointment
The student must confirm the receipt of the auto-generated email before the test date. Afterwards, make an appointment with Testing Services.
Starting Late
The student must sign a waiver acknowledging testing will end promptly by 4:15 p.m.
Otherwise, the professor must be contacted to arrange a different testing date.
