When will I be able to take my placement test?

FTIC/Transfer/Readmit Students:

Both remote and on campus placement testing is now availableSubmit a Placement Test Request by selecting the testing alternative of your choice.

Dual Enrollment/Early Admission Students:

The Florida Department of Education has suspended testing for Dual Enrollment students for the Fall 2020 semester, requiring alternative methods for placement. Please watch the Dual Enrollment Webinar for details regarding the new DE eligibility alternatives and submission of required documents, including PSAT scores and course registration.

How can I submit my ACT/SAT scores?

FSW receives electronic ACT/SAT scores for students who have included the school code when registering for the test. If you did not include FSW as a school recipient of your test scores, Testing Services is providing remote options via Zoom for submission of ACT/SAT scores. Please reach out to leetesting@fsw.edu for additional information.

Will I receive my approved accommodations when taking my exams remotely?

ADAptive Services test proctoring will be administered via online methods following the faculty guidelines and approved accommodations will not be affected. Please contact adaptiveservices@fsw.edu if you experience any issues with your accommodations.

What if I need to makeup an FSW exam?

Make-up test proctoring will be administered via online methods following the faculty guidelines. Please reach out to your professor for directions.

Will the TEAS exams that I have registered for be administered?

FSW Testing Services suspended all on-campus TEAS testing until further notice. ATI will be issuing full refunds to all students that registered for the March-May 2020 dates. Students can either call the ATI Client Care number at 800-667-7531 or utilize the live chat available on the ATI homepage. Please check the nursing webpage for more information regarding the Nursing Program.

When will CLEP exams be offered?

On campus clep testing is now available. To register for CLEP on the Thomas Edison (Lee) Campus, click on the following link: Florida SouthWestern State College CLEP Schedule/Registration Form. This form is required as part of the registration process. The FSW CLEP testing schedule is included on this form.

What happens if my CLEP voucher expires?

Due to the impact of COVID-19, please assure your CLEP test takers whose registration tickets expired on or after March 1, 2020 are eligible to receive a CLEP exam voucher that would allow them to take an exam any time between now and June 30th, 2021. The test taker with the expired ticket should contact CLEP Services:

When contacting CLEP, please include name, address, telephone number, and CLEP exam subject.

Please note that these vouchers are for students who purchased their registration tickets. Students using a voucher code from a school or another entity, should contact the person who provided the original voucher.

When will Pearson exams be offered?

Pearson exams will be available in the near future. Please continue to watch the FSW Alert FAQ website for further updates.

Is FSW providing Other-College test proctoring?

Until further notice, FSW Testing Services will not be offering remote testing for other colleges. Please continue to watch the FSW Alert FAQ website for further updates.

Other-College test proctoring, cont. Will I get a refund for an exam that was already scheduled?

If you choose not to reschedule your proctored exam for a later time, FSW Testing Services will issue a refund for the $40.00 proctored exam fee. You will need to submit your refund request to leetesting@fsw.edu, along with the following information to obtain a refund: first/last name, name of your institution/college, home address, phone number, email address, along with a copy of the $40.00 payment receipt.
